WebLogic as a robust Web Server

education-tile1

WebLogic is Oracle’s Fusion Middleware flagship product. Many customers who have bought licenses for WebLogic are not aware that WebLogic, among other things, provides a robust Web Server. This Web Server, referred to as Oracle HTTP Server or OHS can be used for hosting robust web-based applications, websites, or any web pages designed using web-based languages like HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.

Enterprise-grade applications, websites, and other web-based services can therefore be hosted on WebLogic using its inbuilt OHS. Applications that have been deployed on WebLogic can also be enriched in functionality by integrating them with some additional components using web pages running on OHS. If an organization has WebLogic licenses, it is therefore not necessary for it to use some other web server freeware products like Apache.

We have WebLogic expertise and can assist your organization on any WebLogic services like:

  1. WebLogic installation and configurations on your servers
  2.  Integration of your application with Oracle HTTP Server components or Web Pages
  3. WebLogic Administration and Support
  4. Training on WebLogic
  5. Integrating your WebLogic based applications and third-party applications like the ones listed below in order to provide a Unified Application environment in which all the applications are seamlessly integrated in terms of data flow, workflow and navigation:

  • Applications developed using Oracle Forms and Reports like the E-Business Suit or customer developed applications
  •  Business Intelligence and Analytics
  •  Third-party or custom built applications deployed on third-party Web Servers
